There are some rather large rocks at the sides of the pond. The big guy in the picture center is about three thousand pounds, and took three of us about two hours to get it in place - last year! |

Once we got the pond construction beyond some constraining trees, we "let er rip" and layed out the rest of the liner! Jeepers is this going to be big! |

Really nice view of the empty pond. It seems to be growing. The water level is about 6 inches below the flagstone walkway. This thing must be 20 thousand gallons! Since I will be filling it with a water meter I will know exactly how many gallons... |

A cold day for pond building, even without water. The large lava stone is now inplace on the left. I can imagine myself or grand kids sitting there, not doing much at all... |

The walls seem to be going slowly. It could be the many "two man" stones we are using! |
